La boîte à bonbons started in Quebec in 2016, when two friends with a shared love of candy and entrepreneurship noticed something missing: nobody offered a candy subscription. They sketched out the idea over a beer that same day, and launched the first candy subscription box in Quebec.

A year later they introduced c'est BONBON, their own line of fresh, gluten-free and fat-free gummies, with mixes built around their customers' favorites. Every selection is guided by three things: freshness, quality and variety. Co-founder Sarah runs the business day to day, and in 2020 they added a responsible line of gummies that supports environmental and social causes.
